Our Vision for Teleperson Connect

In creating a world of effortless customer service we must be mindful of those who came before. In particular, Pissed Consumer, who has built a nifty way for consumers to know what the phone numbers are for various companies they do shop from (but just the numbers, not the more angst-ridden call tree). When googling ‘contact Southwest’, and scrolling down about half the page, you’ll see two of our main competitors: Pissed Consumer and GetHuman. When clicking on the former, it will bring up a page that has all of the various specific numbers of Southwest and the page will further enable consumers to contact the company Soutwest directly.

Our main differentiation is our mapping of the individual call tree for millions of businesses, ridding the world of the ‘call tree’ in everyway possible. While we have initially housed this call tree mapping behind the wall, we are looking to launch the following page for thousands of companies this year. The page will be SEO-optimized and built to replicate automatically with each new company added by the Teleperson community.

At the end of the call, a pop-up will appear asking the consumer if he or she would like the replicate the same sense of ease and beauty across 100% of the companies he or she buys from. As further incentive to join Teleperson, the transcript of the call just made can be saved in that consumer’s Teleperson account for later reference.

Alternatively, a messaging system can be made to allow consumers to send messages to Teleperson for further support. We’ll be additionally using this platform to offer our premium “Do-it-for-me” services so that Teleperson could entirely support the consumer’s need.

To get a better sense of what we’re envisioning, we’ve built a quick clickable prototype on Figma. After playing around, I’d love to hear your thoughts (or email me directly at jesse@teleperson.com), comments, criticism and considerations on how to build a more perfectly aligned world between companies and the customers they serve.

Thanks!

Jesse Hollander, CEO, Teleperson
